Day 27 - March 31st
This is a pond in a nearby neighborhood. It's really pretty when misty, but of course, the weather wasn't cooperative this week....
Day 25 - March 29th
This area is known for Smithville Lake - a 7000 acre lake that is beautifully maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers! This is the entrance to one of the parks - it is literally RIGHT outside the entrance to my subdivision. We walk down to the lake when the weather is warm.
Day 22 - March 26th
I took my camera to work w/ me most days this week. The first picture is an area called Briarcliff... It's full of multi-million dollar homes. You can see the rocky cliffs that this part of Missouri is famous for.
The second picture is the Kansas City skyline, as seen out my office window... Again, not a great picture, as it was overcast.
Day 21 - March 25th - LANDMARKS
Ok, I'm REALLY behind again, and the weather was totally crappy this week. This week's challenge is Landmarks. I hope I can find something to photograph this week.
It was overcast and cloudy most of the week. This is a magnolia - they are blooming like crazy here.

Anyone wondering what this is?? I have a hibiscus that I wintered in the basement and this is all the dried flowers from the fall in the dirt around the tree in the flowerpot... :)

Day 13 - March 17th
Ok, I'm positive I took NO pictures on this day, seeing how I was sick in bed most of the day - so I had to upload a couple of OLD ones... again, from about 4 or 5 years ago. Both are from North Carolina. The sunset one is kind of grainy for some reason...
Day 12 - March 16th - BLUE day
Here are a couple of BLUE pics that I took the other day. The lighthouse one is from about 4 or 5 years ago from North Carolina, and is untouched.
Day 11 - March 15th
Ok, I'm VERY far behind - after being sick for almost a week, I feel like I'll never get caught up - but HERE GOES!! Hope you all don't mind some repeats and some older photos... This is one from the other day that I played around with in Photoshop.

Day 10 - March 14th
Nothing special about this picture, except that Jaret lined up the orange peels like this when he helped me pull them off the orange. I had to laugh!
Day 9 - March 13th
We went for a walk down the street into the new part of our subdivision. There was a tree that had fallen and Jaret was sitting on it. I changed it from color to a light sepia.

Day 7 - March 11th
Since I took ZERO pictures on Sunday, I decided to upload one I took tonight (Monday) of the REASON I didn't take any pictures on Sunday. I was too busy building this playset! Thank goodness for my neighbor who helped me! It's still missing a glider because they didn't include the hardware to put it up with.
